Analecta Augustiniana

Analecta Augustiniana began in 1905 as the official means for information and culture about the Order of Hermit Brothers of Saint Augustine.

As from the year 1956, when the Acta Ordinis Eremitarum Sancti Augustini was founded – later renamed Acta Ordinis Eremitarum Sancti Augustini. Commentarium Officiale (vol. V,1) and from 1963 Acta Ordinis Sancti Augustini. Commentarium Officiale (vol. VIII, n.1) – it is considered as an exclusively cultural and scientific journal, dedicated in particular way to the history of the Augustinian Order, and to the study of the life and works of its illustrious members and the thought of its doctors.

In accordance with the provisions of the regulations in force for the classification of scientific journals, all the contributions published by the journal are submitted in advance to the examination of two anonymous experts external to the editorial board and part of the scientific committee (double-blind peer review), designated from time to time from the management. The management reserves the final decision on the publication of all contributions received.

 

The ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research) has placed the magazine in the list of scientific journals in Areas 10 (class A) and 11 (class A).
